Marylebone is polished but relaxed. Central without feeling chaotic. It sits just north of Oxford Street but feels like a village with wide pavements, independent shops, excellent restaurants, and a calm, residential tone. It’s where you go when you want quality without theatre. It’s quietly affluent, well-curated, and very walkable. Best for: Independent shopping, strong restaurant density, museum stops, calm central base.
