Chelsea feels affluent, but comfortable. King’s Road offers easy shopping and good restaurants, and the surrounding streets are elegant but not overwhelming. It has a village feel despite being central, and it’s ideal for long lunches and gentle wandering. It’s stylish without being chaotic. Best for: Long lunches, shopping, refined pubs, slow wandering.
