Finance meets Roman ruins. The City is historic and dignified, especially on weekends when it’s quieter. St Paul’s Cathedral dominates the skyline, and the surrounding streets are full of old churches, markets, and traditional pubs. It feels substantial and steeped in history. It’s a great area for a slower-paced walk combined with one major landmark visit. Best for: Historic walks, cathedral visits, skyline views, old pubs, quieter weekends.
