Hammersmith has strong Sunday energy. It’s the kind of place where people drift toward the river for a long walk, settle into a pub for a roast, and stay longer than planned. The neighbourhood sits directly on the Thames, and much of its charm comes from the relaxed riverside atmosphere. It feels lived-in rather than polished. Less Chelsea gloss, more local Londoners rhythm. The riverside path is flat and scenic, making it perfect for an easy stroll between pubs, with plenty of places to stop along the water. It’s also home to the iconic Eventim Apollo, one of London’s historic concert and comedy venues. Best for: Riverside pub crawls, live music at the Apollo, easygoing Sundays.
