Maida Vale is quiet, residential, and almost surprisingly peaceful for Zone 2. Little Venice, at its heart, is all canals, narrowboats, and waterside cafés. It feels village-like and calm, a reset neighbourhood. No big-ticket landmarks, just atmosphere. Best for: Canal walks, slow mornings, low-key West London living.

COFFEE | Waterside Café (on the canal), Café Laville (canal views)

DRINKS | The Warrington (grand Victorian pub), The Hero (Maida Vale), The Summerhouse (waterside)

EAT | The Summerhouse, The Waterway, Tsiakkos

TO DO | Regent’s Canal walk to Camden, Little Venice basin, Paddington Basin stroll
